Our expanding company is seeking to hire an operations manager to join our leadership team. Operation managers are leaders who consistently insist on the highest standards and display ownership by developing the best. Determine operational strategies by conducting needs assessments, performance reviews, capacity planning establishing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
As an operation manager, you must accomplish results by developing processes and procedures for coaching, counseling, and discipline employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; conducting training; implementing enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
You will also be assisting our Human Resources department with recruiting, when necessary, and help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance.
Successful candidates will have a bachelor's degree in operations management (or a related field) and have prior experience in a management or leadership position. Understanding of community management and a deep understanding of financial management is also a plus.
Operation managers earn their team’s trust by listening, treating them with respect, and leading by example.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
• Manage performance at a system level by ensuring coaching delivery, mentoring frontline leaders, and planning, appraising job results.
• Drive team’s accountability.
• Drive employee recognition and engagement activities.
• Audit the documentation of coaching sessions, inspect and follow up on the actions and feedback provided.
• Ensure coaching effectiveness.
• Audit Payroll Accuracy.
• Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
• Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.
• Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
• Work with senior stakeholders.
• Work with the board of directors to determine plans for short and long-term goals.
• Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
• Support worker communication with the management team.
• Create and maintain the employee's monthly work schedule in accordance with client needs.
• Combine schedule inputs from clients, site managers, and employees.
• Ensure employee schedule incorporates good risk management.
• Define primary and backup resources for each shift, as well as emergency event schedule procedures.
• Ensure strong schedule adherence. Manage schedule exceptions in real-time.
• Keep their team informed about their current performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Conduct recurring meetings with QA & Training to align on the team’s trend in performance and areas of opportunity
• Lead by example.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field.
• Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
• Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
• High proficiency in English and Spanish, both oral and written
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solid understanding of financial management.
